Organ Donation Awareness
Organ Donation Awareness
“ A Gift Beyond Life ”
Organ donation is not just a medical act—it is a humanitarian movement. It is about giving someone else a second chance at life, fulfilling the ultimate purpose of compassion, and turning grief into hope.
With a structured approach, grassroots campaigns, partnerships, and advocacy, Abhi Charitable Foundation has taken a leading role in bridging the knowledge gap and encouraging informed decisions about organ donation.
We believe that the greatest gift one can offer is the gift of life. Organ donation is a profound act of kindness and humanity that saves countless lives, yet millions in India remain unaware, hesitant, or misinformed about it.
Through our Organ Donation Awareness Program, we are committed to educating, inspiring, and mobilizing individuals and communities across the country to embrace this life-saving cause.
Why Organ Donation Matters in India
Every year, thousands of lives are lost in India due to the shortage of organ donors. Despite growing medical advancements, a lack of awareness and deep-rooted misconceptions still hinder progress.
Over 5 lakh people in India await organ transplants annually.
Fewer than 15,000 transplants are performed each year.
Nearly 20 people die daily due to lack of available organs.
Widespread myths, religious fears, and absence of consent culture block donor registration.
While India's medical infrastructure is advancing, a transformative shift in public mindset and grassroots participation is still essential. That is where we step in.
